My last photograph from London. I spent there ten days; with my whole heart I could have stayed for another couple of months. I feel I have left there a small part of myself.
One of my solitary walks was to compare the American town houses to their equivalents in London. The English town homes were elegant, prim, and inviting. I would like to actually live in one 🙂
On the Strand, opposite Saint Mary-le-Strand church, is a beautiful, white, rather large building. Its tall and beautiful iron gate and a high arch remind me of the palaces of the Orient.
