A different lake in the Tatra Mountains. Here we met a couple who rested from their hike eating lunch and to our surprise were feeding a couple of ducks. Unfortunately, the five of us were five too many for the duckies and they swam quickly away 😦 Alas, no picture of them.

Glorious sunny day in the Tatra Mountains. When you are on top, any direction you look there is a new vista to see. It makes it difficult to actually hike effectively, because I want to stop every few steps to take in and somehow preserve this new view.
The lakes in Tatra Mountains are “fed” with snow coming down the slopes. The water is oh-so-cold even in the end of summer. This is the beginning, it is June, and there is still snow in the ravines.
