The lakes in Tatra Mountains are “fed” with snow coming down the slopes. The water is oh-so-cold even in the end of summer. This is the beginning, it is June, and there is still snow in the ravines.
I will be comming down to the lakes later; for now we are hiking on the ridge. It is colder here but the sun is warming me, so what could be better on a day like this?
It looks like a Valley of 5 Ponds – famous place in Tatra mountains. Is it so?
