The castle Pieskowa Skala is a museum and has a fair number of rooms. They contain mostly period furniture, small and larger artifacts, and a rather a large collection of paintings, mostly by famous Polish painters. There is a collection of clocks spanning a long spectrum of time. The chambers are furnished to reflect the style and grandeur of the noble family that lived there. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, no photography was allowed inside.
But the inside courtyard was bathed with the soft light of the setting sun and we stayed there for a long time, dreaming, imagining, and photographing 🙂
That is always so disappointing when photography is banned. I guess they don’t want anyone making money off of the displayed items inside. Your outside photos are quite nice, however. Always enjoy i posts no matter what!

I suppose that is one way to look at it. My view is that by taking pictures and then “propagating” them through various venues I advertise what they have and it would be in their interest. But, obviously, they do not take that view 🙂 I am glad you like the photographs 🙂
