For this challenge I challenged myself to find a candid element to the fountains. All my photographs come from my trip to Rome, but I refrained from posting the well known fountains. Mine are either unknown or parts of bigger sculptures – if you know Rome very well, perhaps you can guess ๐
If your travels take you to Rome in the future, I encourage you to do two things: look in the faces of the fountain statues – they have most unusual expressions sometimes; and drink from them – the water is the best in the world ๐ It comes from the mountains through ancient Roman aqueducts and it is pristine and cold.
My contribution to Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – Fountains.
I am also adding this post to Weekly Photo Challenge – H2O.

I like your fountain with the bird on top of its head. ๐

Yep. That one is saying to the bird:”Come on, I am already squished by two dolphins and now you sit on my head?! I look ridiculous and all the people are watching !!”

I love the pigeon man too – it’s so quirky. Where was it, do you remember?
