Look at this intricate design on the wasps nest. It is deadly beautiful 🙂 I stayed far from it, of course. I would not sacrifice myself for a close up. The iridescent scales on the snake skin were reflecting the light that reached the forest floor. This specimen was safe – already discarded by the snake – and I took advantage of it.
The vibrant color of those berries was spectacular. I left the bunch on the stepping stone for the next hiker to admire.
Poison ivy or not, I left it in peace. Personally, I think not.
