England – London – Westminster Abbey

Westminster Abbey. A place of worship. A place of burial. I found the Abbey to be a comforting place. Surrounded by memories of some wise and others not-so-wise people and temporarily separated from the outside world, it was relaxing to sit in quiet and meditate on the difference between the wisdom of God and that of men. Kings and Queens, architects and writers. Thinkers and world-changers. If I lived in London, this would be my place to reflect on life. If I could only find an un-populated corner … 😉

With no photography allowed inside, I had to limit myself to the outside walkway around the inner courtyard. Even there, the feeling of tranquility lingered…
