The day was not ideal ( is it ever here, I wonder?), but at least it wasn’t raining. Hunting the good weather seems a lost cause during my visit 🙂 With the cold seemingly seeping into my bones, I began to feel just like the horse: forlorn. I found relief in St. Martin-in-the-Fields. Young lady was practicing violin in preparation for the evening concert. That was the spark of warmth I was looking for. After I left, even the dark sky looked a little less daunting and the clouds mercifully retained the rain in its upper chambers. Trafalgar Square was more welcoming.
