Imprisoned in Ice II

If I cannot change it, I will like it.

I have decided that I will like something about this winter even though its prolonged occupation of my part of the world and ever present coldness make it rather disagreeable. I will allow that there is beauty in the winter landscape; the feeling of peace and quiet that vanishes with the arrival of color in the spring. From a practical point of view there are unique challenges and rewards to this season. Challenges of cold and way too much whiteness everywhere. But that is exactly why I have decided to appreciate winter. Because of those challenges. More than ever before I am committed to looking for and finding beauty in winter. I am determined to overcome the cold, the cold, and the cold, and appreciate the unique designs of nature in this season. I am resolved to work the presence of snow and ice to my advantage. My rewards?

        Pozdrawiam serdecznie!
