I had an occasion to visit downtown Harrisburg in Pennsylvania at 7 am this morning. The weather was at bone chilling 3 degrees F making this shot one of the braver things I have recently done. But I couldn’t resist the light. So warm, so promising a reward for stepping outside. I faced the cold and I am not disappointed.
The photograph features Zion Lutheran Church that is sandwiched between apartment buildings and parking garage. At least in this morning light, before people appear, one can appreciate its solitude.
